Mary Faith Gardiner-Ferretto
Ms. Ferretto received her B.A. from Towson University in Sociology, and her MSW with a clinical specialization from the University of Maryland. She has earned a certification in advanced case management from the National Association of Social Workers, and is an advanced member of the Aging Life Care Association ™.
Her career of 33 years has focused on and specialized in serving seniors, disabled adults, and their families and caregivers. Her professional experiences include hospice, senior center services, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services, adult day services, and home care. She designed and implemented a geriatric care management program for Keswick Multi-Care Center, prior to launching her own care management practice in 2007.
She is a frequent speaker and presenter to professional as well as caregiver audiences. She also currently facilitates a support group for young persons with early stage dementia. She is past Board President of the Senior Network of North Baltimore and the Chair of the Senior Services Committee of GEDCO (Govans Ecumenical Development Association), as well as a board member of the First Maryland Disability Trust.
She is a former and current caregiver, and has an understanding of the needs and concerns of caregivers who are juggling the complex responsibilities of family and work.
